FIFTY FIFTY’s Lawsuit for 13 billion won to Begin Trial in August

On June 20th, a spokesperson from the agency ATTRAKT, representing FIFTY FIFTY, confirmed to Xports News that the trial for the damages lawsuit has been scheduled. They stated that the first hearing is set to take place on August 29th.

In December 2023, ATTRAKT initiated legal proceedings against former FIFTY FIFTY members Saena, Aran and Sio, along with their parents and The Givers CEO Ahn Sung-il, seeking 13 billion won in damages.

Prior to this, FIFTY FIFTY had already become well-known both in their home country and abroad with their hit single “Cupid”, even achieving a spot on international charts such as the Billboard Hot 100.

Despite the intervention of The Givers, a dispute between them and ATTRAKT arose when FIFTY FIFTY members filed for an injunction to suspend the effectiveness of their exclusive contracts.

Keena is the sole returning member of ATTRAKT, and the agency’s plan is to introduce a new five-member FIFTY FIFTY group in September by recruiting four new members.
