A contestant from “Girls Planet 999″disclosed the measures taken by Mnet to keep the girls isolated from the outside world.

In a recent interview, ex-“Girls Planet 999″participant Tammy Wu joined Graze Grace to discuss her journey on the reality competition. As a member of the C-Group (Chinese) trainees, Tammy Wu had aspirations of debuting with Kep1er during her time on the show.

During the interview, she disclosed that all contestants were isolated from the outside world. They were required to hand over their phones to the staff and due to filming during the pandemic, they were unable to leave the designated training area.

Additionally, they were only allowed to listen to music while preparing for a challenge. They were provided with an iPad containing one audio file of the song they were performing, and the only available video in the gallery was of the choreography.

During the filming of the show, she mentioned that while some actors were allowed to leave the set and only return for filming days, due to the ongoing pandemic, they were not given the same privilege. Instead, they were provided with an iPad containing one audio file of their performance and one video in the gallery. Additionally, they had access to one MP3 player for listening to music, but it was limited to the piece they were performing at the time.

During the six-month filming of the show, Tammy Wu disclosed that the contestants were allowed only a one-month break to leave the premises and resume their regular lives. Upon their return, they were once again required to give up their phones.

During the filming process, the cast was restricted from listening to any music that was not part of the show and had no access to social media. Tammy believed that this measure was implemented to prevent any unintentional spoilers and to keep the girls unaware of future events.

Tammy Wu participated in the show as an independent trainee and was eliminated in episode eight with a rank of C-17. She is currently a student at New York University (NYU), majoring in music.
