Fortnite Debunks Viral ‘Epstein’ Account Theory: Game Character Still Active Posthumously

Recent speculation surrounding the late Jeffrey Epstein has captured considerable attention, sparked by the appearance of his username in the Epstein files. Reports indicated that Epstein, who died in 2019, is allegedly still active in the gaming world, particularly in the popular battle royale game Fortnite.

Earlier this month, the release of documents connected to Epstein included a YouTube username, ‘littlestjeff1.’ This revelation piqued the interest of gamers and conspiracy theorists alike, leading some to investigate further. According to findings from Fortnite Tracker, it was reported that an account bearing this name had made V-Bucks purchases and even participated in 74 Fortnite matches in 2025. Such activity led to wild speculation that Epstein might still be among the living and engaged in online gaming.

Fortnite Responds to Epstein Account Allegations

As the theory gained traction online, Fortnite took action to clarify the situation. In a response to a tweet from user Pirat_Nation, the official Fortnite account asserted that the supposed Epstein account is a hoax created by a player who merely adopted the ‘littlestjeff1′ username.

Fortnite explained, “A few days ago, an existing Fortnite account owner changed their username from something totally unrelated to littlestjeff1, following the revelation of littlestjeff1 as a name on YouTube, ” outlining that Fortnite trackers only display current usernames, not any prior alterations.

Furthermore, the gaming giant affirmed that there is no record of Epstein having played Fortnite prior to his passing, nor with any of the email addresses mentioned in the recently disclosed documents.“Since the public document releases, people have created Fortnite accounts with similar-looking email addresses and usernames, ” they noted.

Ultimately, while the notion of Jeffrey Epstein engaging in Fortnite gameplay posthumously might easily captivate the imagination, the reality is far less sensational.
