A glitch has been discovered in Fortnite that enables players to obtain two mythic weapons from a single encounter with a boss in Chapter 5 Season 2.
Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 2 is drawing to a close as the latest 29.40 update brings new Star Wars content to the island. This update also introduces new mythic weapons to the loot pool, making them easily obtainable for players.
Despite their popularity, seasonal mythics continue to be highly sought after by players. In fact, some players have discovered a glitch that allows them to obtain two of these powerful items from a single boss encounter in a Battle Royale match. This exploit was successfully executed by a user at The Underworld POI, where the Hades boss can be found. Upon defeating him, players can acquire both the Aspect of Siphon and Hades’ Harbinger SMG.
After discovering a glitch on Reddit, a user by the name of Itchy-Flan9832 shared a screenshot of two Mythic SMGs lying next to each other. Further explaining the glitch, the user disclosed that players can obtain two Mythic Harbinger SMGs by challenging Hades in the storm.

Once you initiate a challenge with him, take out two waves of his minions and then wait for Hades to appear on the ground. Afterwards, find a hiding spot out of Hades’ line of sight and wait for him to be eliminated by the Storm Damage.
After defeating him, you can go to the location where he perished and find the two SMGs on the ground. Unfortunately, he will not leave behind his Aspect of Siphon medallion, so obtaining it is not possible.
The present Fortnite season has been plagued with numerous exploits and glitches that have given players unfair advantages in gameplay, such as the increased range of Chains of Hades and the overpowered Waterbending mythic. However, utilizing these exploits could result in a temporary suspension or permanent ban due to their violation of Fortnite’s terms and conditions.
