The ongoing debate over legitimate versus illicit V-Bucks has led Epic Games to reinforce its policies aimed at safeguarding its virtual currency. Recently, the company initiated rigorous actions, which included removing items from player lockers and adjusting V-Bucks balances to negative values for those who obtained currency through unauthorized means or hacks.
In response, Epic is excited to announce the introduction of a new feature called the Exact Amount Offer. This innovation represents a significant overhaul of the existing V-Bucks purchasing system and is set to be implemented soon in Fortnite.
New V-Bucks Purchasing Flexibility
According to insider information, starting on October 14, players will be able to buy V-Bucks in exact increments of 50 through the Fortnite Shop. This means that if you find yourself needing just 50 or 100 V-Bucks to complete a purchase, you can now buy that precise amount rather than investing $8.99 for a larger pack of 1, 000 V-Bucks.
Moreover, on October 10, player V-Bucks balances will receive an automatic update, rounding up to the nearest 50. For instance, if your current balance stands at 670 V-Bucks, it will be rounded up to 700 V-Bucks on that date, providing players with a slight advantage.
This initiative is particularly welcomed by gamers who prefer purchasing only the specific amounts necessary for in-game transactions instead of overpaying for substantial quantities. The Exact Amount Offer feature has been highly anticipated, especially considering that many other popular titles—such as Call of Duty, Apex Legends, and Valorant—have already embraced similar flexible purchasing mechanics.
