These leaks reveal that the Iron Spider Skin will be priced at 2,000 V-Bucks and will come with complimentary Back Bling, Glider, and Pickaxe. Despite the excitement among fans about the new content, the pricing has received mixed reactions. The addition of a new spidey skin has sparked eagerness among many to add it to their collection, with one top comment simply stating, “I want it.”
Despite some players calling these items “overpriced”and expressing a desire for access to Tony Stark’s account, stating “At this rate, I’ll need Tony Stark’s bank account to afford all these skins,”numerous other tweets argue that paying 500 V-Bucks for an emote or additional cosmetic items, such as Back Bling, Glider, and Pickaxe, is excessive.
The ongoing discussion regarding excessive prices in Fortnite brings attention to a larger issue – the continuous increase in the cost of cosmetics. A tweet exemplified this perfectly, as it pointed out that the Fortnite Wanda bundle was priced at a mere 1,800 V-Bucks.
At 2,600 V-Bucks, the complete bundle offers the most bang for your buck, considering that the skin alone costs 2,000 V-Bucks. It remains to be seen how the community will respond with the Iron Spider bundle becoming available in just a few days.
