In Hytale, Copper Ingots serve as a gateway to advanced tool tiers, playing a crucial role in enhancing your farming efficiency. These ingots allow players to access resources that would otherwise be difficult to farm.
Acquiring Copper Ingots is pivotal for upgrading your tools, but the primary obstacle lies in sourcing Copper Ore nodes. To assist you in this endeavor, we have compiled a brief guide detailing how to locate Copper Ore in Hytale.
Obtaining Copper Ingots in Hytale

Your first step in crafting Copper Ingots involves locating Copper Ore. Typically, these ores are situated in mountainous regions. Given that Hytale’s landscapes are procedurally generated, you can consult your map, seeking out rocky terrains similar to those depicted in the image above.
Copper Ores are generally embedded within stone blocks and can be somewhat camouflaged. They may even spawn outside caves, so stay vigilant as you explore the mountainous zones. Many of these areas feature trails that descend into underground regions without necessitating extensive mining.
As you venture deeper, it’s advisable to bring along Torches for illumination.

While exploring, you may encounter Copper Ore scattered throughout. Occasionally, you might be fortunate and discover clusters containing more than eight ore blocks, although it’s more common to find just two or three at a time. Utilize Torches to improve visibility; placing them around will free up your hands.
Once you’ve gathered sufficient Copper Ores, return to your base to begin constructing a Furnace.

At your workbench, navigate to the “Crafting” tab (the third category at the top) and select the Furnace option. This requires six tree trunks and six stone blocks. Craft one or two Furnaces and place them at your base to facilitate your smelting needs.
Gather sticks and logs to serve as fuel for the Furnace. Place the acquired Copper Ores into the input slot and allow them to melt down into Copper Ingots. It’s a good strategy to have multiple Furnaces—especially if you’re playing in a large group—to optimize the process as smelting can take a considerable amount of time.
