Adobe is revolutionizing the creative landscape by integrating Photoshop and an array of its creative applications directly into ChatGPT. This innovative integration allows users to perform design and editing tasks seamlessly through the widely-used chatbot.

The recent collaboration enables features from Adobe’s Photoshop, Express, and Acrobat to work harmoniously within ChatGPT. Now, users can simply prompt ChatGPT to execute various tasks such as editing images, modifying PDFs, or even bringing animations to life, all powered by Adobe’s robust tools operating in the background.

Unlocking Creative Potential: Free Photoshop Access via ChatGPT

With the Adobe Express tools built into ChatGPT, users gain the ability to request themed designs, access extensive design assets from Adobe’s library, animate elements, and edit existing templates. Moreover, the Acrobat functionality incorporated within ChatGPT allows for merging files, extracting or editing text, and even pulling tables from PDFs—all through simple conversational prompts.

For users seeking in-depth control over their projects, ChatGPT provides an option to transfer their work to Adobe’s standalone applications, ensuring a seamless transition between the AI-powered chatbot and professional creative tools.

According to Adobe, this feature rollout is becoming available globally. Currently, Photoshop, Express, and Acrobat can be accessed via ChatGPT on desktop, web, and iOS versions. However, Android users will find support limited to Adobe Express for the time being, with Photoshop and Acrobat functionalities expected to launch soon.

This enhancement comes on the heels of several AI advancements by Adobe in 2023, including the introduction of AI assistants for both Express and Photoshop, alongside an early look at the innovative Project Moonlight tool designed for cross-application usage.

Since October, ChatGPT has expanded to include third-party app integrations with notable partners such as Canva, Spotify, Expedia, and Figma. As the ecosystem of creative tools within ChatGPT continues to evolve, users should prepare for some overlap in functionalities—for instance, similar image editing capabilities offered through both Canva and Photoshop.
