According to News1’s report on April 18th, G-Dragon has been diligently preparing for his comeback in August. Additionally, he has plans to embark on a concert tour shortly after his return to the music scene.
According to multiple sources within the entertainment industry, G-Dragon is currently in the process of organizing several meetings for his comeback in August.
After a gap of over seven years since his second mini album “Kwon Ji-yong”was released in June 2017, G-Dragon will be unveiling new music.
Notably, G-Dragon was born on August 18th, 1988 and has previously shown a strong attachment to the number 8 by selecting it as his lucky number.
Accordingly, the highly anticipated comeback in August is anticipated to hold great significance.
Despite initially planning to release a new song last year, G-Dragon’s schedule was delayed due to his sudden involvement in a drug case. However, after being cleared of all charges, the male singer proceeded to sign an exclusive contract with AI metaverse company Galaxy Corporation in December of last year. He then announced his intent to make a comeback in 2024.
Galaxy Corporation has officially confirmed that G-Dragon will be making a comeback in the second half of this year. According to the agency, he will commence global promotions after this comeback and will also be engaging in activities in Japan. However, the exact date of the comeback is still undetermined, as stated by Galaxy Corporation in a cautious manner when addressing the information of a possible August comeback.
