Progressing through ranks is linked to the amount of RC you have collected.
Acquiring and Evolving Your Kagune
To acquire your first Kagune, you must reach 5, 000 RC. As you approach this milestone, your screen will begin to flash red as an indicator. Once you hit the 5, 000 RC mark, intentionally inflict damage on yourself to bring your health below 50% — this is crucial to awaken your Kagune. Additionally, strive to elevate your rank to at least B+ prior to awakening to ensure stability in your Kagune form.
Evolving your Kagune follows a similar process: Continue gathering more RC. The specific amount necessary for evolution will depend on the type of Kagune you possess. Upon reaching rank B+, you gain the ability to consume Kagune Fragments and Kagune Sacs, essential for your evolution process.
Finally, to complete the awakening of your Kagune, you must consume another Ghoul that possesses at least 34% of the required RC for your particular awakening process. Successfully completing these steps will grant you your evolved Kagune.
Becoming a CCG Member in Ghoul Re
If you prefer the path of a CCG member, begin by choosing “Human”as your character. Locate the CCG building by pressing the key “P”on PC. Upon arrival, speak with the receptionist, who will facilitate your entry into the CCG and allow you to select from three available starter weapons. Your CCG journey begins officially once you’ve made your selection, enabling you to hunt down Ghouls and elevate your rank.
Obtaining and Evolving Your Quinque
To secure a Quinque, upgrade your rank to “Rank 1 Investigator, ”which is relatively straightforward. After achieving this rank, gather 1, 500 Yen and approach the NPC at CCG headquarters who provides you with a briefcase. Use your Yen to purchase this Quinque briefcase.
Once equipped with your briefcase, you will need to track down and defeat a Ghoul possessing an awakened Kagune. Utilize your briefcase on a subdued Ghoul to unlock your Quinque. However, be cautious: if you perish during the process, you’ll need to repurchase the briefcase to attempt the procedure again.
Evolving your Quinque involves crafting it through the NPC located on the second floor of the CCG building. Gather the necessary materials and blueprints to unlock more potent Quinque options.
