A Douyin account suddenly surfaced claiming that they had dated Tan Zhu, Fat Cat’s girlfriend who was born in 1997 in Chongqing, China, during their 2-year relationship. This revelation also revealed that Tan Zhu identifies as a lesbian.

The post of the girl is stated below:

During their relationship, I accompanied Tan Zhu to Dali.

During that period, I was completely unaware of this information and continued to date her for nearly 3 months, from May to August of last year. We reconnected as friends in October, but I ultimately decided to end the relationship.

Tan Zhu and I first crossed paths while working at a bar. She was one of my regular customers and would always request me to serve her drinks. As we got to know each other, I found her to be a kind and easygoing individual. She would frequently visit the bar and eventually, she started showing interest in me. She treated me with utmost care and affection, and as time passed, my feelings for her grew stronger. Eventually, we fell deeply in love.

During our time together, we shared many experiences such as traveling and living together. However, I was completely unaware that she had a boyfriend. She was able to conceal it effectively. Furthermore, I never had the tendency to snoop through my partner’s personal phone.

It was on January 23rd when my friend informed me about her posting a photo to celebrate her 2-year anniversary with Fat Cat, which was when I discovered it.

Despite being overwhelmed with work and family matters, I couldn’t help but feel deeply saddened by Fat Cat’s story for the past two days. Despite my initial hesitations, I ultimately decided to find the courage to speak up and defend what I strongly believe is just.

Despite not having the habit of deleting chat history, there are still some love messages that can be found. Additionally, I have some photos of us together on my phone, however, I will not post them for privacy reasons.

I am uncertain if my images can be deemed as favorable evidence, but I am limited in what I can do.

The post quickly caught the attention of many people and included numerous affectionate text messages between the girl and Tan Zhu, along with images supposedly captured by the girl during their time together in Dali.

Despite being in a relationship for 5 years, Fat Cat transferred a total of 510,000 Chinese yuan (approx 70,000 USD) to his girlfriend Tan Zhu. This was because Tan Zhu expressed her desire to not have a long-distance relationship, prompting Fat Cat to agree to relocate to Chongqing in order to be closer to her.

Despite living in poverty, Fat Cat remained determined to play games every day, living frugally and only indulging in 10 NDT (approximately 1 USD) takeaway meals. He even endured vomiting blood without being able to afford medical check-ups. Sadly, his girlfriend showed no concern for him in return.

Throughout their two-year relationship, they had only seen each other twice. They had intended to apply for marriage in May, but Tan Zhu had decided to end things in April. Despite his efforts to convince his girlfriend, the young man ultimately resorted to taking his own life by jumping off a bridge. Just before ending his life, Fat Cat had purchased 760 flowers for his girlfriend and transferred 66,666 NDT (about 9,300 USD) to her.
