Granny Ogami was a skilled assassin who had a potent Innate Cursed Technique known as Séance. This unique ability allowed her to summon the physical or spiritual essence of a deceased individual by utilizing their lifeless body. With this power, she could transform herself or others into the likeness of the deceased person.
Despite her ability to summon the body of a person, Ogami was cautious not to revive their soul and only utilize their physical abilities for her assassinations. This skill enabled her to carry out her missions with great efficiency.
Despite this, she left behind her life as an assassin after encountering Satoru Gojo, and even as a child, she was able to comprehend the full extent of his destructive powers.
As evident, Ogami’s technique was highly effective in Jujutsu Kaisen. However, it had one significant limitation – the revival was only successful until Ogami’s or the participant’s Cursed Energy was depleted. In simpler terms, the revived body of a deceased individual relied on the Cursed Energy capacity of either Ogami or the participant.
Hence, even if Ogami were alive and willing to assist the sorcerers in their fight against Sukuna, and even if she successfully brought Satoru Gojo back to life, the resurrection would serve little purpose. This is because there are various factors that render the resurrected Gojo unable to utilize his Six Eyes ability, the most significant one being his lack of access to it.
Additionally, his ability to utilize Limitless would be significantly hindered due to its reliance on the Six Eyes. Moreover, the utilization of Gojo’s techniques requires an immense amount of Cursed Energy, resulting in the rapid depletion of any ordinary sorcerer’s Cursed Energy capacity within a few seconds.
Nonetheless, Ogami’s technique remains unaffected. In theory, she could potentially revive numerous fallen heroes such as Yuki Tsukumo, Kento Nanami, Hajime Kashimo, and Hiromi Higuruma. However, the success of their resurrections would hinge on whether the participant possesses a similar level of Cursed Energy capacity as the deceased sorcerer.
In theory, Ogami’s technique could significantly aid in the ongoing conflict against Sukuna. By summoning the deceased Jujutsu Kaisen characters, the sorcerers’ odds of triumph would greatly improve. With her Séance technique, she has the ability to revive some of the strongest allies of the sorcerers and deploy them as reinforcements for Yuji and his allies.
It is conceivable that reviving a character such as Toji Fushiguro during this stage of the battle would have greatly aided the sorcerers in defeating the King of Curses.
Toji’s lack of Cursed Energy meant that his revival could potentially last for an extended period, until his inevitable demise, much like what occurred during the Shibuya arc. As a result, it is clear that among all the characters in Jujutsu Kaisen, Granny Ogami had the greatest likelihood of defeating Sukuna with her powerful Cursed Technique.
