Step 2: Crafting the Hatchery

To construct your Hatchery, gather the following items:

  • 6 Weed Stems: Acquire these by chopping down Dandelions or Husky Weeds using a Tier 1 axe or higher.
  • 1 Acorn Top: Smash Acorns located near the Oak Tree with a Pebblet Hammer.
  • 5 Acorn Shells: Obtained by smashing Acorns in the same area.
  • 5 Mite Fuzz: Collect this by defeating Lawn Mites, commonly found in shaded or underground areas, especially close to cables leading to the Mysterious Machine.

To place the Hatchery, access your build menu (press B on your keyboard), navigate to the green Hatchery section, position the blueprint, and confirm the build with your action key.

Red Soldier Ant Eggs are primarily located near the Anthill. Here are the key sites to explore:

  • The Toxic Anthill eastern entrance, adjacent to the Picnic Table
  • North of the Snackbar Front zone
  • The north entrance of the Spider Den Anthill located in the Pine Hill area.

Return the egg to your Hatchery for incubation, transforming it into a Red Ant buggy.

Locating Orb Weaver Spider Eggs

To obtain the Orb Weaver Spider mount, you must first complete the Networking mission, which occurs toward the conclusion of the current storyline.

Follow these steps:

  1. Navigate to the Snackbar Front / BURG. L’s Laboratory.
  2. Locate the body of the Headless BURG. L.
  3. Access the tunnel beneath it where you’ll discover the Orb Weaver Spider eggs.

Be cautious as you clear the tunnel of potential threats, including other spiders, and collect the Orb Weaver egg to bring back to your Hatchery.

Incubating the Eggs

With your Hatchery successfully built, you can now incubate your mount eggs.
