GTA 6 Insider Expresses Concerns Over Possible Delay, Confirms Rockstar Continues Developing Missions

Bloomberg journalist Jason Schreier has raised concerns about a potential delay for the highly anticipated Grand Theft Auto VI (GTA 6).According to Schreier, Rockstar Games is reportedly still in the process of developing new missions for the game.

The official announcement of GTA 6 was made in December 2023, introducing a targeted release window in 2025. However, the game has faced two subsequent delays, first rescheduled to May 26, 2026, and most recently pushed to November 19, 2026.

“As of the last update, people are still finishing things up, finalizing levels, missions, and determining what will ultimately be included in the game, ”he stated.“They are still creating new content and, hopefully, will wrap up soon to allow ample time for bug fixing.”

These assertions differ from claims made by other industry insiders, which suggests readers approach these comments with caution. Given the significance of GTA 6 — anticipated to be the biggest entertainment product launch in history — it is crucial for Rockstar to deliver a polished game, as Schreier emphasized.
