When you first start the game, you’re presented with an expansive character customization menu which allows for detailed personalizations. Some players even emulate their favorite anime characters or create unique avatars. If you bypassed this initial stage in your eagerness to jump into gameplay, don’t worry—you can revisit the character customization at any time.

To do this, navigate to the base camp menu by entering any tent found throughout the game world. Here, select the “Change Appearance”option, which will bring up the same character customization screen you encountered during your initial character creation. This menu also allows you to modify the appearance of your loyal companion, the Palico.

Updating Your Equipment Appearance in Monster Hunter Wilds

Within the appearance menu, you’ll find options for “Equipment Appearance” and “Palico Equipment Appearance.” Selecting these will allow you to customize not only your character’s outfit but also that of your Palico’s.

After making all desired appearance changes, be sure to click “Save Changes” to ensure your updates are applied. If you select “Discard Changes, ” you will lose all modifications made.

Additionally, the tent menu offers more than just appearance alterations. Here, you can grill food, swap and equip new weapons, change background music, and take advantage of other features that enhance your gaming experience.
