In the captivating world of Enshrouded, players will encounter a variety of resources essential for their adventures. Among these, Metal Scrap stands out as a crucial material, especially for early-game crafting needs. In this guide, we will detail how to acquire Metal Scrap in Enshrouded.
Navigating to Metal Scrap Locations in Enshrouded
Metal Scrap plays a vital role in your initial stages within the game. It’s necessary for creating essential items like the Grappling Hook and building crafting stations, such as the Forge for the Blacksmith. However, this resource cannot be found in the immediate area surrounding your starting location, the Flame Altar, thus requiring players to venture further afield.

To farm Metal Scrap, head to the island located directly opposite Braelyn Bridge. Initially, you will need to traverse through the Shroud to reach this area. Once you cross the bridge, humanoid enemies wearing makeshift metal armor will be guarding the Vault, which houses the Blacksmith.

Additionally, to the south of the Vault, there exists another enemy camp populated with the same metal-armored foes. However, these enemies are at a level 3 difficulty, so it is advisable to gain some levels before attempting to engage. You can access this encampment by entering the Shroud at the base of Braelyn Bridge and then taking the left path. If you have crafted the Glider, you can also reach this location more efficiently.
Defeating these foes allows you to loot them, typically yielding two to three Metal Scraps per enemy. Since there are three enemies stationed at the Vault, a successful run can net you up to six scraps.
Keep in mind that enemies respawn approximately every three in-game days. Thus, patience may be required to gather the desired amount of Metal Scrap.
That’s everything you need to successfully obtain Metal Scrap in Enshrouded.
