Guide to Completing All Payday 3 Heists in Stealth

Completing heists in Payday 3 will not only provide you with cash, but also help expand your criminal empire by leveling up your weapons. This guide will cover all the heists in the game and provide tips for completing them stealthily.

The Payday series is renowned for its intricate, cinematic heists. From breaching a massive bank vault to commandeering a money-laden airplane, the series continues to offer something for every player, and Payday 3 is no exception.

Starbreeze Studios has once again captured the movie-like magic for the heist themes in Payday 3. This game offers a variety of heists to play in a specific order, and we will provide tips on how to successfully complete each one using stealth.

How many heists are there in Payday 3?

Currently, the game features a total of 11 heists, all of which take place in New York City. These include 8 core heists, 2 legacy heists, and one heist in The Bad Apple campaign.

On June 27th, the Boys In Blue DLC will introduce the 12th heist, taking place in a police station. This highly anticipated update will bring back the beloved heister Clover, along with a variety of police-themed weapons and cosmetics.

As they did with Payday 2, Starbreeze will likely continue to add more heists to the game over time. It is highly likely that the developer will follow this same pattern with Payday 3 in the years to come.

All core heists

In Payday 3, the core heists follow a predetermined sequence in the story mode, but they can also be played in any desired order. This allows players to potentially tackle the final mission first. The heists are connected by several cinematics that further the storyline.

Starting with the November 2023 release of the 1.0.2 update, Starbreeze has incorporated Legacy Heists into the game, which are revamped levels from Payday 2 that have been adapted to fit the gameplay of Payday 3 with modified mechanics and objectives.

Locke, a familiar character from Payday 2, continues to narrate the legacy heists. These levels exist independently within the game’s universe, separate from the main storyline. As a result, players have the freedom to complete these heists in any order they prefer.

Currently, Payday 3 features two Legacy Heists:

Remember to complete each Core heist before starting The Bad Apple, as it picks up where Touch The Sky left off and may contain spoilers.
