Lord Icons are visually distinct character icons that feature unique poses and signature lighting effects specific to Marvel Rivals. While they are purely cosmetic, they offer players a way to showcase their achievements to friends and teammates.

To earn a Lord Icon for a character, you first need to reach the highest Proficiency Level, known as the Lord level. Each character progresses through five distinct Proficiency Levels, categorized as Agent, Knight, Captain, Centurion, and Lord. There are four types of challenges that players can complete to gain experience: these tasks can include playing for a cumulative total of 60 minutes, achieving a certain number of KOs, or activating abilities a specified number of times. Notably, these challenges can be repeated, allowing for unlimited experience gain as you complete them.

Increasing your Hero’s Proficiency requires consistent gameplay with that hero. For instance, if you are using a Support hero, prioritize healing abilities to maximize your experience. Conversely, if you’re playing as a Duelist, focus on dealing damage and securing kills to enhance your proficiency.
