Concerns have arisen among players regarding the potential for abuse, with some fearing that the card may lead to game-throwing behavior since players won’t face demotion regardless of their performance.
In response, the developers issued a statement clarifying that this mechanic is solely intended for lower-ranked players to help reduce pressure while participating in ranked matches.“The purpose is to allow lower-ranked players to enter ranked mode with even less pressure through this mechanism, ” the statement read.
