In the recent update for the hit game Dig It, players are introduced to an exciting new tool: the Solar Shovel. This advanced shovel outperforms the previously celebrated Meteor Shovel, making it a must-have for players eager to uncover all the hidden treasures and legendary items within the game.

Unlocking the Solar Shovel in Dig It

To acquire the Solar Shovel, you will need to venture to the newly added Tropica Island. This island is situated to the east of Piratesburg. Begin your journey by traveling directly from Nookville to reach Piratesburg, then make a right turn to explore Tropica Island.

Upon arrival, the stunning Sun Temple will catch your eye at the island’s heart. At the temple’s summit lies a shrine where you must deposit 20 Fallen Stars to summon your coveted Solar Shovel. But how does one gather these Fallen Stars?

The Fallen Stars can only be collected during the Falling Stars event, a special server occurrence that allows stars to cascade down from the sky and litter the island. This rare event has a chance of only 16%, so players will need to be patient. Once the stars have landed, dig them up to collect. If you find this collection difficult, consider trading with other players to simplify the process.

Once you have gathered 20 Fallen Stars, head back to the shrine and deposit them to invoke the Solar Shovel from above. Be prepared to spend D$500, 000 for your new tool, and remember, you can only purchase it if your character is above level 80.
