To successfully repair the bridge in Absolum, players must first defeat Gazog, Son of Zorg. After conquering this formidable foe, you need to seek out the Goblin Village Elder. Here, Jendriuk the Faithful, positioned at the edge of the damaged bridge, will prompt you regarding the repair process.

Once the bridge has been repaired, your journey to the mountains is set to continue. Make sure to converse with Ederig the Stalwart at the Sanctuary following the repairs; he will instruct you to proceed to the mountains and partake in drinking from the Holy Fountain.

While I won’t spoil the outcomes of your visit to the Holy Fountain, be prepared, as you will encounter several tough enemies along the way.

It’s important to note that after exploring the mountains, players will face Gazog once again; thus, this new route doesn’t evade the boss fight, nor does it offer an alternative pathway.

For those looking to enhance their build, I recommend venturing through the Mouldy Cave to tackle an additional boss before engaging with Gazog or Rudolf, yielding extra inspiration.

Although no achievement is tied to this specific quest, the unique dialogues and the opening of new pathways add depth to your experience. Additionally, players will find a hidden treasure room within the mountains; however, you may find that its rewards won’t contribute much to your inventory as you return to the Sanctuary.
