Disney Dreamlight Valley has unveiled its much-anticipated Halloween event, featuring the intricate Haunted Well Puzzle that challenges players’ problem-solving skills.
Puzzles have become a hallmark of DDV, compelling players to decipher ingredient lists for various recipes, unravel mysteries in collaboration with beloved characters, and explore missions that often include elusive clues. This Halloween season, the game expands its puzzle offerings with the new Haunted Well challenge that accompanies the Trick or Treat event.
Completing the Haunted Well Puzzle not only adds a fun element to your gaming experience but also rewards you with a unique furniture item. However, players should brace themselves; solving this puzzle can be quite challenging unless you have the right guidance, which we’ll provide below.
The Solution to the Haunted Well Puzzle
To embark on this quest, the very first step involves locating the red chest situated in the Plaza. We found it positioned northeast of the biome.
Upon interacting with the chest, be sure to retrieve the purple memory orb. This orb will reveal a crucial clue and direct you to the Forest of Valor where the Haunted Well awaits.
We pinpointed the Well’s location on the northeast side of the biome, right beneath the Frosted Heights.
The clue you receive is essential for solving the puzzle. If you’re up for the challenge, you may skip the following details; otherwise, here’s how to crack it.
Your task is to decipher the numeric value associated with each Green, Red, and Purple Candy. Indeed, this involves a fair amount of mathematical reasoning. To simplify things for you, we’ve done the calculations: you will need 15 Green, 10 Red, and 5 Purple Candies.
These candies can be gathered from buckets dispersed around the Plaza. After collecting the required quantities, deposit them into the Well to unlock your reward.
