In Moonlighter 2, showcases serve as attractive furniture pieces for displaying relics in your shop. These displays not only enhance your store’s appeal but also provide customers with enticing products to purchase. At the beginning of your adventure, you have access to four showcases, but many players find themselves wondering how to expand this number.

Expanding Your Showcases in Moonlighter 2

To unlock additional showcases, you must first conquer the second challenge in the Endless Vault, known as The Endless Vault II. This challenge requires you to accumulate a total of 50, 000 gold. It’s essential to note that you don’t have to possess this sum in your wallet, but your cumulative earnings must reach this milestone.

Once you fulfill this requirement, Ms. Scratch will appear near your shop entrance, presenting an option to upgrade your establishment for a fee of 25, 000 gold.

You can pay her at your convenience; immediate payment isn’t necessary. This upgrade elevates your shop to level 2, which not only provides you with two extra showcases for displaying relics but also increases your store’s overall capacity for furniture. Additionally, this upgrade expands K33P3R’s chest capacity, improving your inventory management.

This upgrade boosts the total number of showcases in your shop to six, offering you a more substantial space to exhibit your prized relics, enticing customers to make purchases. With more showcases, managing your shop becomes less of a chore as multiple displays can operate simultaneously.

By upgrading your shop to level 2, you will also achieve the “Fresh Venture” accomplishment.

Additionally, upgrading the shop to level 3 unlocks the “A Growing Business” achievement, potentially adding even more showcases. However, details on this are still forthcoming as I have yet to reach that milestone myself.

Strategies to Accumulate 25, 000 Gold

To reach the necessary amount for the level 2 upgrade, consider these strategies to streamline your quest:

Focus on treasure chests during your exploration, particularly those with blue or purple hues.
Prioritize gathering high-rarity relics, even if the common or uncommon ones might offer better quality value.
Avoid engaging in battles against mini-bosses or major bosses during your gathering missions; your focus should be on looting.
Monitor your health and potion stock, as dying can adversely affect the relics’ quality you gather.
If your health drops to 10-15, use the pendant to return home and liquidate your inventory.
Pay attention to the six-day calendar, tailoring your shop’s inventory to the days when certain relics are in demand, as this can significantly boost your sales.

By adhering to these tips, reaching 25, 000 gold can be accomplished in just two to three trips if you concentrate on looting rather than combat. With added showcases, managing your shop becomes an even more enjoyable experience, allowing quicker sales of your rare relics.
