Han So-hee Showcases Artistic Talent on Social Media
On August 13, actress Han So-hee delighted her followers by sharing a series of captivating photos on her social media accounts. Among these images was a remarkable sketch she created using only a pen, demonstrating an impressive level of skill often associated with a professional artist.
Artistic Aspirations and Controversy
This isn’t the first instance where Han’s artistic inclinations have garnered attention. In previous statements, she mentioned being accepted into a prestigious art university in France, prompting a mix of admiration and skepticism from the public.
Explaining Her Situation
During her guest appearance on Na Young-seok’s Nabulnabul, Han clarified her situation, stating, “I was accepted to a school in France, but to obtain a visa, I needed to have 60 million won in my bank account. At the time, I simply didn’t have that amount of money, which prevented me from studying abroad.”
Response from the Public
Her comments drew criticism from French exchange students who contested her claim regarding the visa requirements. Following the backlash, Han took to her social media to clarify, stating, “Some details were omitted and misconstrued during the variety show. In actuality, I required around 20–30 million won in my account. However, that still wouldn’t have been sufficient to cover the costs of living and housing overseas. I was working part-time jobs, investing all my earnings into the study abroad process—it felt like pouring water into a bottomless jar.”

Agency Support and Future Endeavors
In support of their star, Han’s agency, 9Ato Entertainment, released a statement affirming that “what the actress expressed on the variety program accurately reflects her experiences.”
With her recent artistic endeavors captivating her fans’ imaginations, Han So-hee continues to illustrate that her talent transcends the realm of acting, finding new expression on canvas.
