Political commentator and streamer Hasan Piker has once again faced a ban from Twitch, marking his initial strike of 2026 and adding to a history of previous suspensions on the platform.

On January 29, 2026, during a live broadcast around 7 PM PT, Hasan’s Twitch account was suddenly deactivated. The stream was centered on a recent murder case in the U. S., and while the exact reason for the ban remains unconfirmed, it seems that certain remarks he made regarding the incident led to this consequence. Shortly after the ban, Hasan took to X (formerly Twitter) to discuss the situation, indicating that he intended to address the controversial aspects of the case.

Current Status of Hasan’s Twitch Account

As it stands, Hasan’s Twitch account is entirely suspended, making it inaccessible to fans and followers. While the duration of this ban is yet to be disclosed, looking back at his ban history may provide some insight, as most of his previous suspensions have typically lasted around 24 hours.

This recent ban is not a new occurrence for Hasan, who has previously faced multiple suspensions on Twitch. In March 2025, he was banned for 24 hours due to comments he later recognized as crossing the line.“Clearly, I should have chosen less hyperbolic language, and I acknowledge I need to take some responsibility, ”he remarked during that incident.

Tracking websites have documented a total of six bans on his account, with two instances lasting an entire week, while the remaining suspensions varied between a single day and much shorter periods.

We will continue to monitor the situation and provide updates as more information becomes available regarding Hasan’s return to the platform, where he typically streams to an audience of tens of thousands.
