In April 2024, PVR Cinemas put an end to all speculations by denying any plans of releasing the film in India. However, Warner Bros. India intervened and revealed that they would be partnering with Encore Films and GoodFellas to distribute the film in India.
At the time, Warner Bros. India announced their plans to release the movie in India with Japanese audio and English subtitles, as well as an English dubbed version.
