Homeowner panics after workers trap cat inside bathroom wall

A cat owner once again experienced a terrifying situation when her feline became trapped behind the drywall of her bathroom, prompting her to desperately try and save it. This is not the first time a similar incident has occurred to a pet owner.

Mariah Vanessa, a popular TikToker, was filled with fear when she discovered that her cat had been accidentally trapped inside her wall by maintenance workers. She shared her shocking experience in a post on May 15 with the caption, “I wish I was joking.”

Mariah sat on her bathroom floor, continuously hitting a hard object against the newly renovated wall in an attempt to free her trapped cat.

“She exclaimed in disbelief, “It’s unbelievable! They actually patched my cat into the wall!”With determination, she quickly created a hole for her beloved feline to escape through.

The TikToker strategically positioned a can of food in front of the hole she had created, in the hopes that it would entice her anxious cat to come out.

She expressed her regret with sorrow as her black cat slowly departed from the wall.

Upon seeing the video on TikTok, viewers were taken aback as Mariah expressed her disbelief once again at the unexpected coincidence. This was prompted by a comment from a netizen exclaiming, “What?!”

Some felt embarrassed on behalf of the cat and shared their sympathy in the comments. One person wrote, “I could see the sorrowful eyes peeking out from behind the wall.”Another added, “That poor little thing.”

In addition, a few viewers shared that they had witnessed a similar situation happen to another individual recently. “Oh my goodness! You’re the second person I’ve seen this happen to. I’m really sorry,”one person expressed sympathetically.

The accuracy of those commenters was confirmed when yet another woman’s cat was discovered to have been patched into the wall by the maintenance team of her apartment complex in March of this year.

“I am in disbelief that the maintenance team actually patched my cat into the wall,”captioned TikToker ‘myworld.wejustliveinit’ in her viral post showing the same situation with her beloved pet.

The cat had become trapped while trying to leave, and she had to use a knife to cut through the wall and rescue her pet.

Despite the apparent accidental nature of the mistake on both occasions, viewers still speculated that it may have been intentionally done by “lazy”workers.

Both women appeared to be extremely relieved when they successfully rescued their cats, but the second TikToker took the matter to her apartment manager in a heated conversation, which she also shared on social media.
