How much money is Mike Perry earning from the Jake Paul fight?

Mike Perry has disclosed the amount he will receive for his upcoming fight against Jake Paul, as the ex-UFC fighter replaces Mike Tyson in July.

After Mike Tyson was unable to compete in his highly anticipated superfight with Jake Paul due to an ulcer flare-up, several other fighters expressed interest in stepping in as his replacement. These included Ryan Garcia and Amir Khan, among others, as the YouTuber-turned-boxer searched for a new opponent.

Former UFC star Darren Till also made an intriguing offer to the ‘Problem Child’, but ultimately, the ‘Iron’ Mike fight was replaced by a match-up with ‘Platinum’ Mike Perry.

Despite initially having an offer to face Julio Cesar Chavez Jr. on the undercard of the Paul vs Tyson event, Perry’s plans for the fight fell through. However, as he prepares to take on Jake, Perry has disclosed the amount he will be earning from the bout.

During an interview on his YouTube channel with Michael Bisping, he expressed that the upcoming event was not bad and aligned perfectly with BKFC standards. He hoped that the pay-per-view would be successful and that people would purchase it, considering DAZN’s occasionally high prices.

“However, we are dedicated to putting in the hard work to earn that money. So, if you purchase the event, I can guarantee you will witness the fight you desire. My determination to provide an entertaining match remains unwavering, regardless of the financial aspect. With BKFC, the opportunity for financial success is accessible for me and I have already secured my future and that of my loved ones.”

The time recorded was 8:20.

Perry’s earnings from his fights with the Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship have been inconsistent. In his most recent two fights, he earned $600,000 and $1,100,000 respectively.

The former UFC star earned a seven-figure payout from his fight with former UFC champion Eddie Alvarez. Therefore, he should expect a similar payout from his upcoming fight against Jake.

‘Platinum’ has expressed worry over the illegal streaming of the fight, as it could potentially affect his final earnings if he receives a percentage of the pay-per-view sales.
