When and Where to Catch Bream in Stardew Valley

Bream is one of the most easily caught fish in Stardew Valley, out of all the fish available. They can be found in Rivers such as the Cindersap Forest River or the Pelican Town River year-round after 6:00 PM. Unlike other fish that are limited to specific seasons or weather conditions, Bream can be caught at any time throughout the year, as long as it is after 6:00 PM.

In Stardew Valley, Bream can be caught until 2:00 AM. To increase your chances of catching one, head down to the River in the evening and fish for as long as possible. By the end of the night, you will likely have at least one Bream in your inventory.

Once that task is completed, you can use Bream for various purposes such as creating fertilizer, preparing Sashimi or Baked Fish dishes, making blue dye, or even crafting a Fish Shirt at the Sewing Machine located in Emily and Haley’s house.
