How to “Get some Night Shards to lighten up” in Disney Dreamlight Valley

Disney Dreamlight Valley’s task “A Day at Disney Star Path”requires players to obtain “Night Shards”in order to brighten up the game. Here’s a guide on how to successfully complete this task.

The most recent addition to the Disney Dreamlight Valley Star Path is A Day at Disney, offering players additional opportunities to transform their Valleys into a Disney Park. Like previous Star Paths, however, not all tasks are simple and straightforward; many are presented as riddles that players must solve in order to determine their objectives.

One of the tasks requires players to collect Night Shards in order to brighten up. The meaning of this may not be clear at first, so if you’re unsure, Disney Dreamlight Valley is asking you to complete this task.

How to Obtain Night Shards for the A Day at Disney Star Path

To obtain Night Shards for the purpose of brightening up, it will be necessary to create Purified Night Shards.

Fortunately, it is an easy job to finish. You just have to gather the following items:

5 Night Shards
1 Dream Shard

Night Shards can be obtained by excavating luminescent areas in any type of terrain. In case of difficulty in locating them, you have the option to create them with Onyx, resulting in 3 Night Shards per gem.

It is even simpler to come across Dream Shards, as they have the potential to show up when excavating, eliminating Night Thorns, and providing food for Critters.

Please note that in order to complete the Star Path task, it is necessary to create a total of 10 Purified Night Shards. This requires a combination of 50 Night Shards and 10 Dream Shards.

To create Purified Night Shards, go to any crafting station after obtaining the necessary materials. The recipe can be found under the “Potions & Enchantment” tab.
