How to Find Forgotten Deep Lost Sector in Destiny 2 The Final Shape
In order to access The Forgotten Deep Lost Sector, located in The Landing area within the Pale Heart, The Traveler zone, players must own The Final Shape expansion as well as other new areas in the region. This is available to all Destiny 2 players.
Located in the southeastern part of The Landing, The Lost Sector is concealed within a massive cavern. This cavern is expansive, with its entrance situated towards the rear.
The symbol for the Lost Sector will be engraved on a pillar located in a dark corner of the cave, in front of a smaller alcove. To reach the entrance of the Lost Sector, walk around the pillar and follow the rock path leading up to a hole in the cave’s wall.
The Forgotten Deep Lost Sector stands out from the other Lost Sectors in the game due to its unique gimmick. In order to progress through this sector, players must gather glowing green gusts of wind at specific locations. These gusts can be found scattered throughout the environment, and once a player collects three of them, they will fill up the Light Shield Breaker. This tool can then be used to break any shields on crystals or enemies that stand in the way.
The boss at the end of the Forgotten Deep Lost Sector also requires players to periodically stop attacking it in order to build up their Light Shield Breaker meter, which is necessary to break through its recurring shield. Additionally, there are numerous enemies in the surroundings that can make the battle challenging, so having allies by your side can help make the mini-dungeon run more smoothly.
