In Palworld, Metal Ore is an important crafting resource for Ingots, which can be used to create some of the most powerful weapons in the game. So here’s how to farm Metal Ore in Palworld.
Palworld has captured the attention of gamers around the world since its launch. This controversial title is nicknamed the “Pokémon with guns,” and it’s already breaking records on Steam.
If you’re one of the many players addicted to Palworld, you know that some resources are easier to find than others. They are therefore more valuable.
Although Metal Ore can be found in the game early on, it is not easy to harvest and is not really useful as is. Only when you reach level 10 and unlock the Makeshift Furnace does Metal Ore increase in value.
So here’s everything you need to know about Metal Ore in Palworld.

What is Metal Ore used for in Palworld?
The main use of Metal Ore in Palworld is for crafting Ingots. These are a key ingredient in crafting some of Palworld’s best weapons. They are also very useful for crafting powerful Mega Spheres which allow the player to capture better Pals.
To craft these Ingots, you will need to reach Technology Level 10 and unlock the Makeshift Furnace blueprint. With this in your base and a Pal with the Fire Starter Working Ability you can create an Ingot.
Where can you get Metal Ore in Palworld?
Metal Ore deposits can be found throughout Palworld. These are large piles of rock with a small chip. They differ from stone deposits thanks to their copper coloring.
However, there are a few places on the map where you can find more than one Metal Ore deposit, as these are mining areas. One is located near the Fort Ruins Crossing Point, another at the rear of the disused Church and a third can be seen to the west of the Hamlet.
Areas to find Metal Ore in Palworld
Once you find and harvest a Metal Ore deposit with your Pickaxe, it will disappear, but don’t worry, because it will eventually reappear, and you can start all over again.
How to farm Metal Ore in Palworld
Metal Ore can be found around the map from the start of the game. However, to obtain it, you will first need a Pickaxe to hit the rock to extract the material. It should be noted that you will obtain more Ores if you upgrade your weapon to Metal Pickaxe. You will then have around 40 metal ores per deposit.
However, the best way to farm it consistently and effortlessly is to move your entire base to a Metal Ore mining area. You can choose any of the areas mentioned above and place your base there.
Next, capture a Pal with the Extraction Work Ability so that the Pal collects it for you.
Don’t forget to add a crate to your base for a Pal with Transport working capacity. This way, it will be able to store all your Metal Ore in one place.
