How to Start Accursed Rituals in Diablo 4

The Accursed Rituals have made a comeback in the Helltide with the launch of Season 4 in Diablo 4, but they have undergone some modifications. These events are still as difficult as ever, posing a significant challenge for new players. Therefore, having a good understanding of how to approach them will greatly aid in progressing through Season 4.

How to Begin Dark Rituals in Diablo 4

Collecting the Baneful Hearts is crucial in Season 4. During a live Helltide, you will come across a triangular ritual site, usually located in the center of the Helltide and accessible to everyone. To start the event, you must deposit three Baneful Hearts at the site.

The great thing about this procedure is that you don’t have to personally hand in all three hearts. In truth, the act of giving the Cursed Hearts can be divided among all the individuals involved in the occasion. After the three Cursed Hearts have been placed, you may commence the Forbidden Ritual.

Step-by-Step Guide to Completing Accursed Rituals in Diablo 4

Each ritual in Diablo 4 Season 4 Helltides consists of two parts, with the first step involving a group of demons. Once enough demons have been defeated, they will no longer appear, signaling the start of the main boss fight. The most challenging enemy to defeat in this season is the Blood Maiden, and she must be taken down in order to succeed.

It is worth noting that any player near the Accursed Ritual site can receive a reward following the ultimate confrontation. Yet, the rewards will be significantly more valuable if you have contributed at least one Baneful Heart. These items are not easy to come by, and you must reach and survive threat level 3 in Helltides.

After completing this task, a Hellborne Boss will appear. If you are able to defeat it, you will receive a Baneful Heart as a reward.
