How to unlock the Gladiator in MW3 and Warzone

The Gladiator is a brand new melee weapon arriving in Season 3 of Warzone and Modern Warfare 3. Here’s how you can unlock it.

Season 3 of Modern Warfare 3 and Warzone brings a multitude of new weapons to both games, including the Gladiator. This new melee weapon arrives alongside the FJX Horus submachine gun and the MORS sniper rifle, expanding the impressive range of weapons already available.

But, before you add it to your class and start taking down enemies, you will need to unlock this weapon.

So here’s how to get the Gladiator melee weapon in MW3 and Warzone.

You can obtain the Gladiator by completing Sector 15 of the MW3 and Warzone Season 3 Battle Pass. This is done using tokens earned through multiplayer or Battle Royale matches, with wins and your performance influencing how quickly you receive a new token.

As always, Sector 15 will require a total of five tokens. The first four grant sub-rewards, before the fifth and final completes the Sector and unlocks the Gladiator.

Not all melee weapons are created equal in MW3 and Warzone, with some being heavy but good at keeping enemies at a distance, while others are more agile but require you to get up close.

The Gladiator falls into the latter category, with the developers even comparing it to the popular Karambit in their official weapon description.

“Close combat has never been so fast and painful, with the Gladiator rivaling the Karambit for supreme mobility, maneuverability and high damage potential,” they said.

“Slice straight to the bone with speed and ease, but make sure you’re close enough to make your killing blows count.”

Only time will tell if the Gladiator will replace the Karambit as the go-to melee option when it arrives in Warzone and MW3 on April 3.
