With a simple base and a few common Pals, everyone starts small in Palworld. However, as you progress through the game, your character level will increase and more structures and items will then become unlockable, allowing you to further customize your base to a whole new level.
What started as a small shelter in the wilderness could become one of the most impressive bases, and it’s already showing in the game’s community.
The problem with big bases is that sometimes things can feel a little disorganized, especially if you’re sharing the world with multiple friends.
Fortunately, the game has an item, the panel that you can write messages on to mark certain locations and keep things organized.

How to unlock panels in Palworld
To unlock the panels in Palworld, you must reach level 7 and spend 1 technology point in the Technology tab.
Once the sign is unlocked, 10 woods are required to build it.
Assuming you already have enough wood, activate Build Mode to find the sign in the Other category.
How to write on signs in Palworld
After placing your sign, you can write on it simply by pressing the interaction key while nearby. Depending on your platform, this should be F on your keyboard and X on your Xbox controller.
You are completely free to write whatever you want on it, whether it’s something regarding resources or important appearances on your map. You can also use the sign as a way to welcome other players to your base, that’s entirely up to you.
Just be aware that if you decide to change your mind, the text on your sign can be rewritten at any time. All you have to do is repeat the steps above.
