A renowned Japanese ramen chain is set to challenge the culinary curiosity of Jujutsu Kaisen enthusiasts with an intriguing new offering: an edible Sukuna Finger, crafted to resemble the series’ notorious cursed object.
In a recent announcement, Dotonbori Kamukura revealed its unique collaboration with the acclaimed anime Jujutsu Kaisen. This partnership goes beyond conventional merchandise, introducing a limited-edition menu item inspired by the show’s dark lore.
Beginning February 25, patrons will be able to purchase a remarkably realistic char siu pork shaped like a severed finger, representing Ryomen Sukuna, the show’s formidable antagonist. In the Jujutsu Kaisen universe, these severed digits are regarded as forbidden treasures.
A Culinary Adventure for the Brave
The finger-shaped delicacy, priced at ¥1, 000 (approximately $6.50 USD), will be available in limited quantities exclusively at the participating restaurants.
Despite its unsettling appearance, this culinary creation has been meticulously designed with flavor and texture as top priorities. The pork is marinated in a savory soy sauce blend that complements the ramen, and cartilage is incorporated to impart a satisfying crunch.
But the Sukuna Finger is just one highlight of this collaboration; the menu also features a variety of character-inspired dishes. For instance, a tomato-based ramen topped with melted cheese honors the series’ hero, Yuji Itadori, while Choso’s offering includes crispy fried chicken drizzled with a spicy Korean sauce. Other options include a striking black sesame noodle bowl for Megumi Fushiguro, piping hot fried rice with a rich sauce for Kinji Hakari, creamy white ramen for Yuta, and sesame gyoza dumplings representing Panda.

The flagship locations in Osaka and Tokyo will be transformed for this special event, featuring seat-specific decor, original illustrations, and character art displayed throughout the dining areas. This immersive experience promises to engage fans in an unforgettable way.
This isn’t the first instance of Jujutsu Kaisen’s Sukuna Finger being transformed into food; a previous collaboration with Lawson garnered significant attention for its creatively designed finger-shaped Danish pastry.
