In a surprising twist, Seo Min Jae, a reality TV star from Seoul, South Korea, used her social media platform to publicly accuse her former boyfriend of threatening to release revenge porn.
On June 16th, Seo Min Jae, a participant on the widely-watched romantic program “Heart Signal 3,”shared a shocking post on her Brunch profile titled “My Experience with Domestic Violence.”
I used to love someone. He is the person that taught me that love is when you wish you could suffer in the stead of another person. But I learned that even this person can be abusive.

Seo Min Jae described the purported mistreatment she suffered in her previous relationship in the post.
Seo Min Jae shared that her ex-boyfriend, who she did not name, had threatened to release intimate photos of her following a drunken altercation.
According to reports, he allegedly blamed her for destroying his life by revealing “negative secrets”about their relationship and made threats to do the same to her and her family.
One day, he contacted me after being drunk. He told me that I had ruined his life because I revealed bad secrets about our relationship. He told me that he was going to ruin my life as well as my family’s. He then told me that I had no idea what he was going to do and sent me private photos of myself that he had previously told me that he had deleted. When I told him that sending me these photos wasn’t going to accomplish anything, he then told me he was going to post it somewhere else.

Seo Min Jae recalls how her ex’s past girlfriend had also encountered a similar dilemma and ultimately resorted to an extreme action. Furthermore, the ex had even composed a song specifically for her.
I didn’t think the person that I knew would do this. Someone close to him had gone through something similar and ended up making an extreme decision. This person even wrote a song dedicated to her. I didn’t think someone who was a friend of hers would do something similar.

Furthermore, Seo Min Jae recalls a previous occurrence in which she publicly revealed her ex-boyfriend’s drug usage on social media, resulting in both individuals receiving suspended sentences.
Because I am the one who exposed his drug use on my social media accounts, I thought it was understandable that he hated me. Therefore, I decided not to press charges.

Despite not directly mentioning her former partner, Seo Min Jae’s comments have caused a stir among Korean netizens who have been speculating about the identity of her ex. Many have connected her statements to singer Nam Taehyun, who had previously confessed to using drugs with Seo Min Jae.
Seo Min Jae explained that she decided not to press charges for the revenge porn threats because she was initially exposed to drug use.
