Before his first mini-album was released, Lee Dongyeol, who is also known as XIAO, received significant attention for his unique teaser photos. He defied traditional gender norms by confidently showing off his slender waist in crop tops.

In April, Lee Dongyeol caused a stir among fans, particularly HONEY10 (UP10TION fandom), with the launch of his official solo social media channels.

Concurrently, he revealed his plans to begin his solo career and confirmed the upcoming release of his first mini-album, “HOWLING,”on May 8th.

From April 29 to May 1, Dongyeol released his concept photos one after another, and each time he did not fail to impress!

In his first CONCEPT PHOTO, he amazed fans with his enchanting appearance, and on the subsequent set of images, he surprised viewers by flaunting his toned abs and slender waist while sporting a cropped half shirt.

On top of that, his third concept photo showcases his alluring appearance as he dons a cropped jacket and shirt. The burnt accents and faux tattoos on his chest only enhance his sexiness, deviating from his usual boyish charm and radiating a more grown-up aura.

Upon his debut with UP10TION in 2015, he quickly gained popularity as the lovable and energetic youngest member of the group.

Despite their success in the music industry, particularly in Korea and Japan, the group faced several setbacks on their journey to the top, including member changes, military enlistment, the impact of COVID-19, and departures from their agency.

In 2023, he had the opportunity to showcase his various charms after joining Mnet’s “Boys Planet”and expressed his desire to re-debut. However, he was unable to join the debut lineup for ZEROBASEONE as he was eliminated in the 8th episode, garnering even more attention.

Following the expiration of his contract with TOP Media, he signed with PA Entertainment and embarked on his solo career with a more daring image.
