Managing stamina in Starsand Island is often considered one of the tougher challenges players face. It seems never-ending, yet you must efficiently utilize what little you have.

Interestingly, the game offers limited guidance on stamina recovery methods, leaving many players unaware of a crucial mechanic that can significantly enhance their gameplay experience.

As you delve further into engaging activities like farming and animal husbandry, you’ll quickly realize that your stamina bar depletes rapidly. Fortunately, there are two fundamental methods for replenishing your stamina: resting at Hot Springs and consuming food.

While indulging in food, particularly the abundance of berries scattered across the island, is a well-known tactic, the Hot Springs remain an underrated yet effective way to restore stamina early in the game.

To access the Hot Springs, you’ll need to acquire Hot Spring Tickets, purchasable from the General Store or vending machines throughout Starsand Island. Each ticket is priced at 100 Gold, but keep an eye out for random discounts that may pop up.

After securing a Hot Spring Ticket, you’re all set to unwind at the hot springs.

Upon locating a hot spring, simply interact with it, and one Hot Spring Ticket will be spent automatically to initiate your rest. During your time at the hot spring, you’ll recover approximately 2-3 stamina points per in-game minute, which can feel quite slow, especially from a completely depleted stamina bar.

While you can manage to engage in more activities, scheduling time for multiple visits to the hot spring in one day can be challenging, depending on your pace throughout the day.

As you accumulate more resources and gold becomes less of a concern, you’ll likely shift your focus to eating food as a quicker method to recover stamina. In many scenarios, choosing to cook food will be more about optimizing your time than strictly efficiency, depending on your available cooking options.
