On March 5, 2025, STARTO ENTERTAINMENT, a prominent Japanese entertainment agency, officially announced the indefinite suspension of Terasawa Kotou, a 17-year-old member of the youth group “Go!Go!Kids.” This critical decision was made following the unauthorized leak of photographs that suggested Terasawa was involved in smoking.
Upon receiving the reports, STARTO ENTERTAINMENT initiated an investigation that confirmed violations of their established regulations. As a consequence, they have decided to suspend his activities indefinitely, emphasizing the need for Terasawa to engage in self-reflection during this period.
The agency shared their perspective on the situation, stating, “After directly confirming the situation with the individual involved, he acknowledged his inappropriate behavior.” Further elaborating, they added, “After several discussions, we decided to impose an indefinite suspension to allow him time for reflection and self-reassessment.”

In light of this incident, STARTO ENTERTAINMENT announced plans to enhance their management system for junior members. This aims to establish a more harmonious balance between the academic pursuits and the entertainment obligations of young talents.
