VTuber Ironmouse recently opened up about her emotional turmoil related to her split from VShojo, expressing uncertainty about her future in streaming.

On July 21, Ironmouse made headlines by announcing the termination of her long-term partnership with VShojo. Her statement revealed that the organization had not fulfilled its financial obligations to The Immune Deficiency Foundation, amounting to approximately $500, 000 from her highly publicized charity subathon.

Her departure had a profound impact, not only triggering a significant influx of donations — ultimately raising $1 million for the charity — but also leading several other VTubers to follow suit and part ways with VShojo. Notably, Kson, who had been streaming live with the company’s CEO, also chose to leave.

Following over a week of absence from Twitch amid the unfolding drama, Ironmouse returned to her platform on July 23 to address her viewers directly.

During her comeback stream, Ironmouse candidly shared her struggles, revealing that she has been feeling “bed-rotting”since the incident, which left her questioning whether she would return to streaming at all.

She expressed her vulnerability, stating, “I was not sure when I was going to stream again because I’ve been an emotional mess. It’s been a very difficult time for me. This is the longest break that I’ve ever taken from streaming since I started, ”emphasizing that her current hiatus has been the most prolonged compared to past breaks she frequently took.

In an emotional tone, she shared, “You missed me? I missed you guys, too! I missed you guys so much! For a few days, I didn’t even talk. I was simply bed-rotting, wishing I could handle things, but I wasn’t able to do anything.”This openness resonated with her audience, showcasing the impact of the situation on her mental health.

Ironmouse further indicated that there are limits to what she can disclose about the situation, noting, “I cannot say anything more than what is already in my video on the drama.
