On August 27th, NewJeans’ official YouTube channel uploaded a video titled “HYEIN ELLE Japan Photoshoot Behind,”which featured behind-the-scenes footage of Hyein’s photoshoot.
Upon entering the set, Hyein’s cheerful demeanor and singing of a children’s song quickly shifted into a professional one as the shoot began.
Hyein happily exclaimed, “The clothes I have on were part of the collection I admired in Paris. It’s such a delight to finally wear them. I was captivated by numerous gorgeous pieces during my trip. Today, I am thrilled to have the opportunity to wear several of my favorite outfits. It’s a wonderful feeling.”
Hyein was playing with a large bouncy ball prop when she jokingly remarked, “We’ve become quite close. I made a new friend today. Hi! It must be cold. It has been on the cold floor this entire time.”
As the shoot went on, Hyein appeared to become fatigued. She remarked, “I feel so uninterested without my bandmates. I tend to be more reserved when I’m by myself. However, with my bandmates, I become more outgoing. When I’m surrounded by close companions… that’s when I truly come out of my shell.”She also mentioned, “I did actually see my bandmates yesterday, but it feels odd not being able to see them even for just a day.”
Ultimately, Hyein exclaimed, “There were an abundance of diverse ensembles. Even though I only wore a total of six, I had the opportunity to don multiple beautiful garments and give my all in a range of concepts during the photo shoot! My dear Bunnies, I sincerely hope you enjoyed it!”
