XDefiant: Understanding Team Deathmatch
XDefiant’s Team Deathmatch is a competitive game mode where players from two opposing teams strive to score the most kills and meet the designated threshold, typically set at 75 or 100. We will keep this section updated as the XDefiant developers announce the mode’s threshold.
This mode places no emphasis on in-game objectives such as capturing or escorting. Instead, its sole focus is on eliminating opponents and achieving kill streaks.
To address players’ concerns about objective-based modes being compromised by players solely focused on direct combat, a dedicated TDM mode has been implemented. This mode allows players to fully engage in their preference for intense battles without detracting from the experience of other game modes.
In order to achieve maximum success in TDM, it is crucial to have optimal controller settings and an effective audio setup that allows for easy enemy detection on any map. This will greatly increase your chances of earning a high number of kills.
