IShowSpeed has publicly challenged several WWE superstars in anticipation of next year’s Royal Rumble, following his participation in this year’s event.

During a live YouTube stream on February 1, while backstage at the Royal Rumble, Speed was speaking with Stephanie McMahon when a planned Rumble entrant was unexpectedly attacked. In a surprising turn of events, Triple H announced that Speed would step in as a replacement entrant.

Although his tenure in the Rumble was brief, clocking in at just 56 seconds, Speed made his mark by securing an elimination before being taken out himself. His elimination by Bron Breakker, which culminated in a spectacular spear, has since gone viral.

Post-elimination, Speed was escorted to the backstage area on a golf cart. He subsequently shared a snapshot on Twitter featuring him in a neck brace and using crutches.

IShowSpeed’s Ambitious Plans for WWE’s Future

In a recent interview featured on the official WWE Twitter account, Speed expressed his thoughts on his performance, especially given the circumstances. He stated, “If I had more time, I promise you I could do way more than y’all think I would. Next Royal Rumble, I’m calling out everybody—Roman Reigns, Mark Henry, Rey Mysterio, Dom; it don’t matter who you are. I’m getting all of y’all.”

When asked about the pain level of the spear versus the RKO he took at last year’s WrestleMania, Speed remarked that both were equally painful, saying, “You just asked me does it hurt or does it hurt? They both hurt. I can’t even walk, that’s pretty much it.”

Additionally, the Royal Rumble isn’t the sole event on Speed’s agenda for February. He is set to compete against Kai Cenat in a flag football game during the Super Bowl festivities on February 8.
