IShowSpeed’s Response to YouTube Ban After Jumping Over Sports Cars

Following a temporary ban on the platform, YouTube star IShowSpeed has released a statement addressing his actions of filming himself jumping over a Lamborghini and McLaren sports car consecutively.

IShowSpeed is renowned in the world of live streaming, largely due to his extravagant stunts such as lighting fireworks in his bedroom and leaping over cars driving towards him.

One of his signature moves is, in fact, hurdling over speeding sports cars.

Despite his success and viral fame, his athletic achievement did not align with YouTube’s moderation policies.

On August 5, the editor of Speed shared a screenshot of their creator dashboard on Twitter, which showed that their channel received an Active Community Guidelines strike.

On August 6, IShowSpeed released a video addressing his community and acknowledging that he had received a temporary ban on his channel.

“Hey everyone, I wanted to inform you that I am currently banned on YouTube from my main channel,”Speed clarified. “This means that I am unable to stream or engage in any activities. I just wanted to make sure you all were aware. I appreciate your support, my friends.”

At present, it has been reported that Speed’s primary YouTube channel is the only one affected by the ban, which is expected to remain in place for two weeks. While viewers can still access his channel and view previous videos, his live stream featuring a sports car stunt has been removed and he is unable to stream or upload any content during the ban.

This penalty is being enforced during the peak of Speed’s ongoing live streaming efforts, which come after his widely shared journey through Europe where he was swarmed with followers in places like Amsterdam and Oslo.

Despite being back in the States currently, he is already in the process of planning another livestreamed journey through Southeast Asia and eventually, the Middle East.

At this time, Speed’s primary channel will be on hiatus, causing fans to eagerly await his eventual comeback.
