In the Lunar Research Station within Pragmata, weapons—referred to as “units”—are crucial for gaining an upper hand against hostile bots. To maintain your effectiveness in combat, it’s vital to invest in upgrades for the weapons you utilize most frequently. This guide explains the process of weapon upgrades in Pragmata.

How to Upgrade Weapons in Pragmata

Upon your initial arrival at the Shelter in Pragmata, you’ll unlock the Unit Printer. By engaging with this machine, you can create various attachments, weapons, hacking nodes, and abilities using Lunafilament and Pure Lunum. While weapon upgrades are included in its capabilities, this option will be inaccessible until later.

As you explore the Lunar Research Station, collecting Data Shards and defeating bosses will enhance the Shelter’s level. This progression will unveil new weapons, abilities, and upgrades at the Unit Printer.
To unlock a weapon, it must first be printed via the Weapons tab at the Unit Printer, requiring 100 Lunafilament.

After printing the weapon, you can equip it at the Tram Terminal, subsequently unlocking further upgrade possibilities to enhance its performance. A cutscene will occur, confirming the weapon’s availability at the Tram Terminal.

After the weapon is equipped, you can invest additional Lunafilament and Pure Lunum into that specific weapon at the Unit Printer. This will level up the weapon, upgrading attributes such as damage, rate of fire, and ammo capacity.

Note that the cost of upgrades increases with each level. Initially, you’ll only need Lunafilament, but eventually, Pure Lunum will be required as well. This makes it crucial to focus on upgrading the weapons that align with your combat style to ensure efficient use of your upgrade materials. Fortunately, you will gather a substantial quantity of materials for several upgrades over time.

How to Increase Your Lunafilament Supply

To acquire additional Lunafilament, search for Safe Boxes located throughout each area. Remember, you can revisit past locations for more resources! Additionally, participating in challenges offered by the Cabin in the Shelter can yield Lunafilament as a reward.
