Jacksepticeye Supports DanTDM Amidst MrBeast and Logan Paul’s Response to Lunchly Controversy

MrBeast, Logan Paul, and KSI’s recent announcement of their new venture Lunchly, made on September 17, has ignited what some are calling a YouTuber civil war, with Jacksepticeye being the latest influencer to comment on the issue.

Their business initiative, aimed at competing directly with Lunchables, faced immediate skepticism from fans and fellow YouTubers alike. Notably, gaming YouTuber DanTDM, who boasts nearly 30 million subscribers, publicly criticized the project, questioning how it could “benefit their fans.”

“I can’t stay silent anymore. This is merely selling products for profit,” he stated, adding, “This is selling inferior products to kids who don’t know any better.” In response, KSI, Paul, and MrBeast issued statements defending their decision.

Joining the dialogue on September 18, Jacksepticeye remarked, “You mess with DanTDM, you mess with YouTube,” which prompted an overwhelming show of support from fans.

“When DanTDM and Jacksepticeye aren’t on your side, you know you’ve messed up big time,” was one of the many responses, as others criticized the Lunchly founders for their reaction to the backlash.

“Their reaction to feedback on their product should be embraced, not ridiculed. This shows poor customer service on their part,” commented one user.

Jacksepticeye, whose real name is Seán William McLoughlin, is familiar with entrepreneurial ventures. In 2018, he co-founded the apparel brand Cloak alongside Markiplier and later launched Top of the Mornin’ Coffee in 2020.

Similarly, Lunchly marks MrBeast’s third significant product launch, following the successful releases of Feastables and MrBeast Burger. Paul and KSI also introduced Prime Hydration in 2022. While these ventures have proven to be successful, they have been marred by controversies, including a recent lawsuit.

In August, KSI faced a $13 million lawsuit from coconut water supplier Agrovana for alleged “breach of contract.”

As for MrBeast, 2024 has brought a series of public relations challenges. The latest controversy surfaced on September 18, when it was revealed that contestants from Beast Games had filed a lawsuit against him and Amazon over allegations of “inhumane” conditions.
