Jake Paul’s social media debut of a new hairstyle sparked reactions from both fans and critics alike, who took the opportunity to mock him just a few months before his highly anticipated boxing match with Mike Tyson.
Jake Paul, the 27-year-old boxer and entrepreneur, surprised his Instagram followers with a new hairstyle in a recent photo dump on April 26. While his previous post with girlfriend Jutta Leerdam on April 12 showcased their first anniversary celebrations, his latest photos show a significant change in his appearance.
Despite being easily recognizable by his short blonde locks and chin strap beard, Jake surprised fans with his newest photos featuring long, curly blonde hair. However, instead of receiving praise, he was met with criticism as fans roasted him for his new style.
“One person joked, “Bro is starting to resemble a blonde Bob Ross.”Another person commented, “You should consider getting a haircut and beard trim. You’re starting to have a Tom Hanks in Castaway vibe.”
Some people wondered if his hair growth was genuine or if he was wearing a wig. “Wow, how quickly does your hair grow?”one fan inquired. “He probably wishes he could have hair like that,”remarked another.
Several fans also expressed their backing for his upcoming match against Mike Tyson, which he announced in the caption of his Instagram post that he was fully focused on and actively training for. “Let’s go champ,”one supporter exclaimed. Another chimed in, “Jake will definitely come out on top!”
The match between Jake and Mike is set to happen on July 20 at the AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas. During an April episode of Jake’s podcast ‘BS w/ Jake Paul,’ he revealed that he felt “nervous”about the upcoming match, but he also felt “excited”by the same nerves as they serve to keep him motivated.
During his podcast, Jake expressed his enthusiasm for facing his most formidable, wildest, and strongest adversary yet. He also mentioned that the prospect of moving up to heavyweight is quite enjoyable for him.
Even though Jake is preparing to face the renowned “Iron Mike” in the upcoming months, he also mentioned in his IG caption that he was “embracing the island life” and working on a “soon-to-be-launched project.”
At the time of writing, there is currently no information available about the specifics of his “new project.”However, with the “Problem Child,”anything is possible.
