Although she ultimately became an actress, Jang Da Ah had originally contemplated pursuing a career as a dancer. She even attended an arts high school and specialized in Korean dance before fully committing to acting.

“Even if the world doesn’t know me, I don’t particularly want to do anything, but if I want to do something, I want to dance on the street.”

She continued:

“I majored in dance for a long time, so my nickname is ‘turning turns.’ Dance is a memory of my school days. I happened to see a video of Korean dance and wanted to try it, so I did it with a light heart, but I ended up having to take the entrance exam, so I ended up doing it as my major for a long time.”

When questioned if she had any remorse about making her debut as an actress rather than another profession, Da Ah disclosed the rationale behind her decision to pursue acting, stating:

“I have been interested in acting since then and couldn’t wait to graduate. If I were to go back, I think I would start acting as soon as possible.”

Instead of being known solely as “Jang Wonyoung’s sister,”Da Ah conveyed her determination to establish herself in the entertainment industry and requested to be referred to as “Irreplaceable”Jang Da Ah.

She provided an explanation:

“I think it is important for an actress to have her own personality.”
