Fan Reactions and Expectations

Momoa’s casting has spurred a variety of reactions from fans, especially on social media platform X. One user humorously requested, “Please play the game for at least 100 hours before acting in this movie. I beg you, ” a challenging feat for someone who does not consider themselves a gamer.

During past interviews, Momoa has shared insights into his childhood gaming experience, stating, “My mother, when I was growing up, wouldn’t let me play video games. She was like, ‘Get outside, climb a tree, go skateboard.’ I wasn’t allowed to have video games.”

Other fans chimed in, commenting on the game’s notorious difficulty and dark humor, with one user joking, “Please make it that he die in the first 15 minutes of the movie, it will be hilarious.” Another remarked, “I can’t wait for him to be in it for like ten minutes at most, get absolutely annihilated.”
